Is there such a thing as too many books - is it really possible to go in a bookstore & not buys books   ?????

today am guilty of the cheapskate book buying  - drop in to  local store see 2 books I want both in the $34-40 range - I can't have both or can i?? go home  pop onto  & find out yes  can buy both & still get change  for NZ$40.00  ..... just have to wait for them to get here via snail mail - fair exchange

fair game If I don't do it too often - have no guilt doing this in Borders who are at least 10-20% above any other physical bookstore

now back to my reading  .......

It's a tough call, how many books are too much?? I'm trying to cut back on how many I buy, only have one series I've been slowly getting because I read them often when I want something light and entertaining. Other than that I mostly just hit the library.

Have you checked (the prices include shipping and funds got to Oxfam)? some of the prices are as low/lower than most bookstores. Also, Whitcoulls has a sale going right now. We picked up a cookbook for a Christmas gift and that was 1/2 price. I don't know if you must have the coupons or not, but they have them in the stores if you do.

I haven't checked, do they have good deals often?

That's good to know. I didn't know how Goodbooks would compare to Bookdepository. Good to know!
